Our roots in adventure
The seed for Motorbike Ventures was planted in 2000 when Chris first toured the Ho Trail in Vietnam with Explore Indochina. She was instantly captivated. The very next year, she returned as a guide, riding the trail with her 10-year-old son, Case, as her pillion passenger. From that moment, the path became clear, and as more people requested tour extensions, new connections were forged across Cambodia and Laos. Our partnership with an Indian company further expanded our horizons, leading Mac and Chris to undertake a challenging project ride through the Himalayas. While Chris had visited 21 years prior, the added dynamic of guiding 'punters' on the test ride brought a new level of excitement to the journey.

Meet the team: Chris and Mac
At the heart of Motorbike Ventures are Chris and Mac, a duo driven by a shared passion for motorbikes and authentic travel. Chris has a deep love for vintage and veteran vehicles, initially drawn to Vietnam by the opportunity to ride classic Urals and Minsks. Her expertise lies in managing bookings, administration, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that makes our tours run smoothly. Mac, on the other hand, simply lives for the ride. He thrives on the diverse experiences each journey brings and is the more outgoing, people-focused personality of the team, always ready to share a laugh and connect with our travellers. Together, they form the perfect balance to ensure every Motorbike Ventures tour is an experience to cherish.
