What's the easiest way to book a motorbike tour?
The easiest way to book is to read through the options available on our website and then contact us. Each tour is individually customised to the client. We work with the best operators in the areas and are flexible to the skill set of the rider. If you don't ride a motorbike but want that 'out in the breeze' tour in Vietnam, we have ex-USA military classic jeeps!

When is the best time to go on a tour?
The best time to go varies by destination. We'll discuss optimal travel seasons for Vietnam, India, and Laos when you contact us, ensuring you experience the best weather and conditions for your chosen tour.

How much will a tour cost me?
Tour costs are tailored to each custom itinerary, reflecting the duration, destinations, and inclusions. Contact us with your preferences, and we'll provide a detailed quote.

Do I need a motorcycle licence?

Yes, for motorbike tours, a valid NZ motorcycle licence is required. However, for those who prefer not to ride, our jeep tours in Vietnam offer an equally thrilling experience without the need for a motorbike licence. We have tours suitable for riders of all skill levels from basic 'on tarmack' to 'full-on off-road high adrenalin' adventures.

What important things do I need to sort out before my tour?

We can sort your airfares / visas, and provide the fuel for the  jeeps/bikes and your guide/driver and mechanic.

You need to bring riding gear suitable for the teain. Gloves, boots, helmets and riding gear for India or Laos, but we have helmets and some riding gear in Vietnam. You will need spending money of approximately $50 NZ per day, a sense of adventure, and be 'bike fit' or have a reasonable fitness level to suit the tour option you select.

How do you ensure rider safety and support?

Ride Your Own Ride
We don't ride in tight packs or rush from one destination to the next. Our tours are designed to give you the freedom to enjoy the roads, the scenery, and the culture at a pace that's comfortable for you, while always having the reassurance of experienced guides and full support.

A lead guide rides at the front, with a sweep rider at the rear. We use the proven corner-man system, ensuring everyone follows the correct route without feeling pressured to keep up with the group. Between the lead and sweep riders, you're free to ride at your own pace.

See a spectacular view? Want to stop for photos or take a moment to soak up the local culture? No problem. That's what venture riding is all about.

Your Support Team

Your safety and enjoyment are our highest priorities. Every tour is supported by:

  • Experienced English-speaking guides.
  • A qualified mechanic to keep the motorcycles in top condition.
  • A dedicated support vehicle carrying luggage, spare parts, and equipment.
  • A qualified paramedic travelling with the tour.
  • Mac, our logistics expert, who coordinates the tour and is ready to respond to any unexpected situations.
